A power-plant-in-a-box. Reliable power, made local.
We worked with The Climate Brick to launch its 2025 edition and redesign its website from the ground up. The Climate Brick is a strategic framework helping climate tech founders, investors, and operators navigate the not-so-simple path from idea to scale. Our job was to turn all that complexity into a digital experience that feels clear, useful, and, importantly, actually enjoyable to explore.

The Challenge
The framework was sound and the material behind it was dense. A founder arriving cold had to download the manual and read a fair amount before finding out whether any of it applied to them. There was also more than one audience. Founders, investors, operators, and corporates all arrive with different questions, and the existing site treated them as one reader.

The Bet
To reflect that collaborative spirit, we wanted to create a space where different people across the ecosystem can come together, explore the framework, and use it to support their own journey, wherever they happen to be on it. The site features clean, modular layouts in a bento-box style, simplified navigation, and thoughtful content hierarchy to support usability across audiences. One of the biggest pain points that came up in our user interviews was that it was hard to figure out which brick was right for them. So we partnered with the team at EQT Ventures to build an AI-powered Brick Finder tool and brought it to the center of the experience, giving users a faster and more intuitive way to discover the insights and resources most relevant to them. The result is a site that turns The Climate Brick from something you simply read into something you can actually use, because scaling climate tech is complicated enough already.

The Look
The Climate Brick arrived with an identity that worked. The name, the mark, the bricks, and the BT Brik face were all settled and known to the people who use them, so there was nothing to gain from starting over. We brightened the palette so it felt current and we introduced Innovator Grotesk as a legible, functional complement to the blocky headline type. We also built the brand a motion identity, with a set of animation treatments for social. On the 3D side, we modelled each brick as a monolith and put it outside. Stepped forms in a valley at first light, a cream block in a field of red flowers, green volumes in the low mist of a forest.
The Rollout
The 2025 edition launched with a new site, a blog to hold case studies and interviews, and a set of social assets introducing each brick one at a time, ahead of the launch party at the Energy Tech Summit in Bilbao. Experience it live at www.climatebrick.com.
